Description

July 1976, Marvel Two-In-One #17, Page #16 Splash, Sal Buscema pencils/Mike Esposito inks, “The Basilisk!”,
A grail splash by any standard. The Thing teams up with Spider-Man to fight the Basilisk. This was Part 1 of a classic two-part story, which continued in Marvel Team-Up #47. This is the 2nd appearance of the Basilisk.
This splash was buried in a private collection for over 35 years. I am beyond ecstatic to be the custodian for this page going forward. I want to say a big heart-felt thank you to JB for allowing me to own this grail piece from my youth.

Brilliant page! As a kid, the cross-over between two titles seemed impossible - almost magical. This splash brings all of that excitement right back.
