July 1991, Deathlok #1 Cover, Denys Cowan pencils/inks, �The Wolf is at the Door�
What an awesome feeling to be able to possess an iconic 1990�s cover featuring one of my favorite characters, Deathlok, which I read off the stand in 1991. Nostalgia rules again. I loved this comic so much I bought 80 comics of it. I still have them. This comic features the Origin of the new Deathlok, Michael Collins, written by the late great Dwayne McDuffie.
Most people consider me strickly a Bronze Age collector and I am, mostly. But there are certain comics from the early 1990s, which rank as high on nostalgia for me as the early 1970s. This comic was one of them.

Very memorable piece for the time I came back into the hobby after graduating from college and buying the first house. I visited the local comic book shop (they advertised in those 1970's comics out of Rochester, NY - Empire Comics). This was one of the 1st new books I saw come in that month. Very nice!

Wow Nick,This was hard to stay away from buying but I chose another piece in auction instead.Back in the day I purchased 50 copies of this issue and still have 40 copies left,LOL ! I just loved this series,Congrats !

Love this cover! Denys Cowan is one of my favorite artist, he is incredible.
