Description

One of two Vampiress Carmilla pieces Tom did for me late last year. Both started as prelim sketches and ended up as full sized finished pieces that will hopefully see print in the magazine at some point down the line. As always, Tom's classic brush strokes are unrivaled!

Such a pretty inking job to provide gloss to her figure looking hot in a chair. The extra patterns on the left side of the portal is in homage to classic Warren Vampirella stories.

What's crazy is how many times my eye has been drawn to the shading on the chair of all things. Look at the use of light, shadow and texture. On a chair!
