While the costume is Batman '66, I can see this painted to have a Japanese man under the mask to appeal to their domestic market. It's painted like Batman is a combo of spy, superhero, and ninja with this castle setting and team of sunglasses henchmen. Real fun that the hand can break the art border. It's as if to signal that the board game was going to have a third dimension to it.
