Description

Finally a proper page from the Titans Hunt storyline that went through the New Titans in the early 90's. Love this page. It has all of the main Titans Hunt characters, including the parents (Deathstroke, Steve Dayton, and Arella), as well as the new characters Pantha and Phantasm. Super stoked to have this page. Such a great storyline that I remember well from reading it as it was coming out. No idea why they have not ever published this in a trade format, it's criminal.

What!? Where'd you get this Brandon? Why isn't it in MY collection? Deathstroke by Grummett an Vey is right up there Pérez's Deathstroke, so I really love this page for that reason alone, but everyone else being there is a nice bonus as well. The fine feathered lines Vey put down are exquisite, especially on Pantha's face, mask and hair, as well as on Deathstroke's costume detail in the first panel.

As for the lack of a Titans Hunt collected edition, don't even get me started! Can you believe, after all of these years, not only did thay still not collect it, but they only last year finally collected ANY of Wolfman and Grummett's New Titans run and instead of Titans Hunt, they collected "Chaos War" from the end of their run when hardly anyone was reading it anymore. That decision was an absolute travesty, no doubt!

Oh man, I have to agree. Grummett/Vey Deathstroke is darn near perfection. and you are right, Pantha's face close up is a highlight of this page.
Right?! It makes no sense. I feel like a good chunk of people would buy a collected trade of Titans Hunt. No idea why they didn't lead with that instead of Chaos War.
