I have a number of these layouts that Keith Giffen did for L.E.G.I.O.N. ‘89 and this is an example scanned with the published page to show the scale and and the final image for comparison.

The final art was pencilled by Barry Kitson, inked by Mark McKenna and colored by
Lovern Kindzierski.

That's a really great side by side comparo for people to learn from, Miki, good on you for posting it. I love how absolutely clean and clear his layouts are! They remind me of Alex Toth's work.
