Another prelim page completed
Barry on roll call pencil face
Packed like lemmings
Into tiny panel boxes
Pubescents in a superhero page

Barry gives appeal and care to bring into existence
He knows that something somewhere has cake break
He sees the family home
Now tuning up his best lines
The pencils there that makes his eyeballs ache

Barry smiles away
There's a Shadow on roll call
Of a homage we want more
Of an inked finished take
