DescriptionHonored to have been able to add this piece by Joe Jusko to my collection. Recreation after the work of John Buscema and Bill Everett. Features all Avengers who had joined up to that time. This piece is massive and the colors are gorgeous. It evokes the original but goes beyond it in capturing the emotional intensity of the characters.Social/Sharing |

Absolutely incredible. One of the greatest paintings joe has ever created. Must be a mesmerizing sight to see in person!

I told Joe that I was so overwhelmed I was nearly brought to tears!

Very nicely done!! Joe killed it!! But I would have been tempted to change Herc's pose. Big John had him looking like he was jumping off a swing. Lol

My understanding was that Herc was missing from the original drawing by JB and that adding Herc was Bill Everett's contribution. It explains why he was a little out of place for sure!

I've always loved the Buscema/Klein and Buscema/Palmer teams the most, but even though the Buscema/Jusko combo is not a pencil/ink combo, I think it surpasses even the other two I mentioned. I would've loved for Buscema to have pencilled a one off story for Joe to fully paint!

So great! I particularly like Joe Jusko's take on the Hulk!
