I've no idea if this ever saw publication, but absolutely elegant and intricate ink work on this piece. Nino is a master of composition and his attention to nuance and detail unparalleled. An artist's artist! Likely unfinished, but still an amazing work. See additional scan for detail of the monsters.

This style was coming in strong towards the late 60's and early 70's as part of the art nouveau counterculture movement. The curves and asymmetry were there to lead your eye to the next part of the drawing. Along with beaded curtains, it was a staple of the times.

Bit of a shame this wasn't finished really else better off left in black and white but certainly a really charming and beautifully intricate piece nonetheless. I still love it. Thanks for sharing.
