Not sure what one can say about Bruce Timm's contribution to comics. on one hand, he did a cartoon we all loved. on the other, he made popular an art style that was overlooked by many and helped make the careers of incredible artists like Darwyn Cooke. i always wanted a bruce but to get a sketch at sdcc you had to be at the table about half an hour after the show opened and maybe you'd get lucky. since i was working a table i wasn't able to wait around for him. i decided to bite the bullet and get a commission. i kinda feel like i won the jackpot here. yes, it was (and still is i think) the priciest commission i've ever gotten. but, it is one i think i could not be happier with. when i paid for it i had the option of buying the prelims as well and i passed on it. i regret doing so. i've never seen another bruce timm anything like this one. it is just bursting out at you!!

i'm actually scared to get it framed. i want to make a copy of it and frame that. its on typing paper and the thought of it getting damaged makes my stomach hurt. this is also the only art i felt the need to watermark (hope that's ok).
not sure if he'll take any more commissions on but if he does, don't think about it, just do it if you can.

Very rare! I don't think there's been a commision spot open for Timm since and the full color pieces tend to go within a day.

Awesome piece congrats. Bruce doesn't open commission since 2018 and probably he never do it again.
