Description

Another terrible loss, we all learned of the passing much too early, of the great John Paul Leon at the far, far too young age of 49. A very talented artist, he was also by all accounts a great person, who I never had the good fortune to meet. It is heartbreaking reading accounts not only of people who knew him well, but also those he worked with who had meant to reach out or try to reconnect with him, but now will never have that chance. Another sad reminder to cherish the time you have with people, and not take the future for granted. I will let the artist's work speak for him, far better than I can, with an iconic splash page from The Spirit story titled "Big Picture". Rest In Peace.

Beautiful page and great example of this artist's amazing work! So sad that he is gone, but of course, he is not forgotten.
