DescriptionSSOC 176 and 178 were my favorite issues of the series. Fast forward to 2017 and I had the chance to purchase it on eBay. Of course, I messed it up for a number of good reasons, but I regretted not being more aggressive at the time… silly me. It then comes up for sale in 2024 and I make sure to win it on Heritage … except that it turns out that it is so big after framing it sticks out at 32x39. It’s going to take some time to rearrange all my art on the wall. I’ve reached an inflection point in my art collecting.Social/Sharing |

Conan has learned the lesson that I learned long ago.
Never follow a horny man into a tent to see his pet snake.

Great visual impact with all the barbaric and dark magic themes! Norem's paintings make entire storytelling scenes more epic.

Too big...good problem to have :) The paints SHINE here, man, and I'm sure do more so in person. Big congrats on nabbing this beauty the second time 'round!

Now that’s a collector’s journey come full circle! Missing out in 2017 must have stung, but snagging it in 2024? Sweet redemption! And what a piece. Norem’s raw power, pulpy intensity, and moody atmosphere make this an absolute beast of a painting. Yeah, rearranging the walls might be a pain, but for a grail-level piece like this? 100% worth it. Have you done it yet?
