Q&A with Michael Reyes
| Q: | Which piece in your gallery is your favorite and why? |
| A: | Punisher Magazine 12 was one of the first and few comics that I owned and loved to read as a teen. This cover was painted by Joe Jusko. |
| Q: | Please tell us a little about yourself. |
| A: | I live in NJ and work in an investment management firm in NY. I’m also father to a 9 year old daughter. I went to school in the Boston region so I am a supporter of the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox. I am a supporter of FC Bayern München as well. On youtube my handle is makipoopoo. |
| Q: | How long have you been collecting comic art and what prompted you to start? |
| A: | My earliest commission was from 2011 but it wasn’t until 2014 that I purchased my first interior page. I wanted to own pages of comics that I read growing up — out of nostalgia. It probably grew out of my collecting habits of toys. It wasn’t till only recently though that I took this hobby more seriously instead of being just a casual collector. |
| Q: | How do you display/store your collection at home? |
| A: | I have some pieces framed and the rest are in portfolios. |
| Q: | What are your top five most wanted original pages or commissions? |
| A: | Punisher Magazine 10 cover; Savage Sword of Conan 173, 178: and 179 covers; Ghost Rider 18 cover; Transformers 72 cover. |
