DescriptionA personal grail done by the great Joe Jusko.Lambada? It made me laugh. Until I purchased this piece from Mike Burkey, I was just a casual comic art collector. But I had coveted this comic art for a very long time. So being at the right place at the right moment, I took my first step into taking up this hobby more seriously. Many thanks to the Romitaman. A very fine Jusko cover for Punisher where I would guess Thunderball was an influence for an underwater tango to the death! Frank can really do his thing in magazine form and a Jusko let the violence play out on the cover! Especially fun is the deep blues and white for the underwater setting and your matching double mat.

Kudos on this acquisition, Michael! I collected this magazine as it was coming out monthly only to have the cover art!

Big congrats on picking up a personal grail, and I can see why you like it so much! Exquisite color work for sure...must truly be a sight in person. I'm sure you never pore over it ;) Congrats!

Phenomenal Punisher cover by Joe Jusko! Love the whole idea of an underwater battle scene!

I came so close to picking this up from Mike when he had it on his site but kept procrastinating and then it was sold. Congratulations on grabbing this great piece.

This piece changed the course of my collecting habits, so had you purchased it, I would not had been even on CAF today.

One of my favorites! I found it amusing that they felt the need to obscure the exiting spear with a copy box! lol.
