DescriptionFantastic page (page 10 of the second part, page 39 of 49) by the great Italian Disney master Romano Scarpa, for his classic „Paperino e la leggenda dello «scozzese volante»”. This is one of the most famous stories by the great Scarpa and only very few pages are thought to have survived...possibly one of the best surviving pages with all the Ducks and the trademark raining sardines…the first of 2 consecutive pages…First published in 1957 in the Italian Topolino 174/175, the story has been printed over 53 times in at least 14 countries, in Germany it first appeared in the Lustige Taschenbuch No. 8 (1969). This was one of my favorite Disney stories when I was a kid... Social/Sharing |
