Description

Another hole filled: an early Art Adams piece! Together with Golden, Adams has to be one of the artists who managed to be most influential with just a handful, extremely impactful issues. The peak obviusly came with the Asgardian two-parter, but his work started with a bang with his Longshot mini.

This page features two key characters of the series. I quite like Spiral's visuals, a mix of oriental, mythological and sci-fi features.

I have attributed the inks of this page to Portacio, on account of his signature at the bottom of the page (and it does look like him, in particular Spiral's face in the bottom panel). If anybody has different information please let me know.

I also love Nocenti's dialogue on this page "I own that sun, don't I?" - "Sure Mojo". Priceless!

I like these pages with Spiral and Mojo! Great pick up from such a well remembered Art Adams classic.

Terrific Art (Adams)! Longshot miniseries is, maybe, the top of Arthur creativity, style, and uniqueness in the Comic panorama. Mojo pick!
