Description

I had pretty much decided not to procure any more art this year after 3 big pieces I got early in the year (OAX and a Comic Link auction), but while watching a Mike McKone interview hosted by Matt Ditullio during CAF Live in May 2025 I had to change my mind. I asked offhand if Mike might be willing to do a watercolor of Rom and he said he'd just bought some pearlescent paints in Japan that he could use and that he loved Rom... so, done!

Picked it up at Heroes and love the colors and unique take. Thanks Mike!

Damn, that makes me want to ask Mike if he'd do a Stingray at that size.

Great choice in McKone! He makes it tall so that it could be used for the box art of an actual ROM figure!
