Description

I have a lot of childhood nostalgia for the film Godzilla vs Megalon and this cover encapsulates some of that glee.

A guy who likes Transformers and Ultraman loved Jet Jaguar as a little kid, who'd have thought?

Living and growing up in the Bay Area, the backdrop of the Golden Gate bridge and the battle taking place in San Francisco, while the bystanders onboard the Alcatraz Bay Tours look on, seemed to call to me specifically. A favorite movie. A favorite artist. A favorite character. A backdrop containing some sense of hometown pride. It all seemed to come together for a must-have piece of art.

Ooh, I love how scrolling down and seeing the boat passing through at the bottom suddenly gives off an incredible sense of scale. Nice, dude!

Ha ha, whoulda thunk you'd dig Jet Jaguar, right?! What a stretch :) Great image, too, and love the grandeur of the combatants - nice touch with the boat going between 'em, with JJ I'm sure keeping 'em safe. And as you said, checks many boxes for you! My son's got his collection of vinyl Godzilla figures on the shelves in his room and JJ is a fave :) Congrats!
