DescriptionThis is the May. Day 22. Thirty-One days of Star Wars continues...I have already uploaded some Wilton Santos pages from the Padme book as part of the May festivities. So how about a page from her boyfriend’s title? Anakin’s story is the sixth one-shot in the canon comic book anthology series Star Wars: Age of Republic. But who cares about canon? Star Wars is, and has always been, a tale of legends. This title was written by Jody Houser with Wilton Santos and Cory Smith handling the penciling chores, and released in 2019. Ah yes, it was indeed released in a year that seems quite recent, but also another world ago, in a galaxy far, far away!

Somewhere out there beneath the Jedi Knight
Someone's thinking Padme Amadala tonight
Santos draws here Darkside's shadow there
That they'll find Skywalker in page of Star Wars that's rare
And even though I know your very face Anakin's scar
It helps to think we might be canon in the same wars star
And Master Windu starts to Sith a gruesome lullaby
It helps to think he's bringing in Artoo scans Padme's thighs
Somewhere out there, the Force can see us through
Then we'll be together somewhere out there
Out where dreams Naboo
