Return of the May. Day 35. Now posting forty straight days saluting the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi!

After Crimson Dawn�s auction of the frozen Han Solo in the giant "War of the Bounty Hunters" crossover event, Qi�ra has set her sights on a much larger task. She and her Crimson Dawn organization will attempt to rid the galaxy of the Sith. Palpatine and Vader be warned.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Solo movie, and a large part was due to Emilia Clarke's performance as Qi�ra. I knew once she entered the comics I would need to track down some art. So, I was most pleased when Steven Cummings recently dropped some of his Star Wars pages on his website (http://stekichikun.com). Steven shouldered the full art duties for issue one, switching to just the pencilling duties thereafter.

The first part of the issue is essentially Qi�ra explaining her plan, her operatives, and her objectives. Here Qi'ra recaps Palpatine's transgressions against all involved.

Qi’ra talks a good game!!! lovely page, he does a great job with the likeness while maintaining an original "comics" look to it so it doesn't just feel like a photo reference job the whole time. Got me considering pages. I need to circle back and finally read this one too

This was a surprisingly good string of limited series, that didn't get as bogged down and diluted as War of the Bounty Hunters wound up with all of the back and forth across multiple titles.
