Description

Huge thank you to James for following up with me after I bugged him years back! Preacher is my all time favorite story and I have always had trouble locking down the right example. This was one of my favorite pages in the whole book that perfectly shows the chaos of this book. I have always felt like the earlier issues had the best detail. Of all my art this may be my favorite piece. I’ve also heard that it once belonged to Kevin Smith which adds some coolness.

That first panel is awesome! Dillon deftly sums up the cathartic release of pent up rage!

I feel like the first 15 issues are so that Dillon was heavy and the shading and made Jesse stand out. The first panel detail is Dillon at his best!
