The stories got more outlandish and surreal as the incredulity of the political systems continuing to devolve in reality took place during the Watergate Scandal.

Great page! Grandinetti was given carte blanche to be as imaginative as he wanted - and his imagination was truly weird. His oddball cast of characters, and his startlingly dynamic framing, make Prez something of a forgotten gem.

well alot of that was from the imagination of Joe Simon, He created Prez and Jerry and Craig worked under Joe. Prez is truly underappreciated.

Indeed. My favourite of your grandfather's '70s work was the Outsiders in 1st Issue Special #10, another collaboration with Grandenetti and Flessel. That one had a real impact on me (at the age of 9) and it left me wanting to know more about that group.

I truly believe Joe's 70's work is underrated. People don't give it enough of a chance for it to be appreciated. Jist fantastic stuff

Dear Sir, Your grandfather was a GIANT. His mid 70s work is indeed underated. Prez, but also, my favorite Brother Power the Geek iINMHO, one of the most interesting DC titles of that era. Humbled by your comment. Sincerely, Fabrice
