Description

There have been many "definitive" pages in Batman comics over the years. It is the goal of each writer and artist to put his/her stamp on the Batman legacy and to create that perfect panel, perfect page or perfect story arc that will last with audiences and stand the test of time.

This page is a visual masterpiece by Graham Nolan and is an ideal representation of the relationship between Batman and Robin (and Gotham City). Nolan's inspiring art and Chuck Dixon's simple dialog summarizes their partnership and mutual understanding. This page also visually defines the roles of Gotham's guardians and adequately explains their motivation as they stand watch over the city and plunge into action.

This is the perfect page. Perfect in composition, layout and content. This page has it all and tells a complete story.

This is a definitive Batman page in classic 90's style. It perfectly represents a specific version and era of Batman of which I am quite fond.
