This is Gary Frank's first work on any Batman title and is a nice early example of his take on Batman. Classic '90s style Frank with his frequent inker at the time, Cam Smith.

This clean and sleek style is definitely vintage Frank. His style has evolved over the years and his current style is not nearly so "clean" in my opinion.

I’ve noticed that, almost a hint of Bolland to his newer style. Not as fluid or smooth as it was, but more detailed and a bit grittier. I had a Birds of Prey page nce, long since sold, but it had that vintage style...I wonder how he evolved like that, be an interesting conversation!
