WHAT a combo! The only other time I've seen Weeks and Sienkiewicz work together was on an issue of Uncanny X-Men (#314) and I remember being BLOWN away as a kid. Bill kinda overpowered Lee in that issue a bit but i t's fasninating that this came about a year later and strikes a much better balance between the two. LOVE this page, man!

Helluva a combo of artists there and it shows in the page! You can see both of them in it. Love the use of shadow, and overall the scene setting and sense of atmosphere? Tops! Congrats, Daryl!

Gordon's leaving (leaving)
On that midnight train to Gotham (leaving on a midnight train)
Hmm, yeah
Said he's going back (going back to find)
Organized vice and crime (and when he takes that ride)
Oh yes, he is (guess Bats gonna sit right by his side)
And Bill’ll be with him (On Weeks he will)
On that midnight train to Gotham
(Leaving on a midnight train with Gordon. Woo Woo)
I rather see it in this post (page in this world)
If I can’t see it, in mine
(world, world, It's his, this art is yours alone)

Fantastic combo on Batman! love the Bill S inks over Weeks. Batman Chronicles was a cool concept too with the quarterly releases and revolving creators. Great page. Congrats!

Such a great airt pairing with Weeks and Sienkiewicz! The page looks great published but the black and white page is such a site to see. Lots to love in each panel from the shadows and silhouettes to the city scene. Congrats!

I love Sienkiewicz, but sometimes his inks can overpower the pencils to the point that the page looks more like Bill's style than the penciler's style (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). Not so here, where the inks work beautifully with the pencils to preserve Weeks' style to create an outstanding page.
