That's great! It's so convincing, that it brings back memories of views of the park that may or may not even have happened.

Beautiful painting. Yes, the lion reflection is easy to spot. Super cool.

I also spy a few faces and a scorpion in the tree bark ;)

Cool painting and it reminds of visiting Animal Kingdom before the park opened to the public. I lived in Central Florida at the time and and my Dad was a free lance engineer for Disney (designing & building things like the Electrical Light Parade when it was switched over to LED lighting) so we were invited to a "test run" of the park. The Tree of Life wasn't even finished yet ... in places you could still see support structure, wire, & duct tape. I found the tape funny so took a picture of it ... much to the displeasure of a Disney "Suit" who was standing nearby. I give the man credit though; he didn't fuss at me for taking the picture, and I'm sure the tree was finished up quickly after that.

The Tree was my favorite part of the park that day. Even unfinished it was stunning, with all of the animals worked into the bark of the trunk. I studied the sculpturing of the tree for at least an hour ... it was so intricate and fun to look at.
