I've never known a girl like you before
Now just like a cover from tales of yore
Here you come knocking, posting artwork score
Well, I've never met a girl from Mars before

You drew her with good taste so I want more
No need for the inking, with the pencil's raw
'Cause now you got him toning, shading for it all
And John Carter's known a girl from Mars before

You made me acknowledge Davila with glee
I hope to God he's pencilling Dejah Thoris for me
Hope that he's drawing methodically
Know that I'm talking about the curves to feel

And I've felt the winter's end like this before
Never, never, never, never
Never known a girl from Mars before
