�� This Bali watercolor painting was on the Alina Chau website starting June 12th. I checked as soon as I woke on Saturday morning and found five of my favorites already sold out. Nevertheless, I'm very happy with my new acquisitions. Alina is an artist working in animation, illustration, and comics. She won an Emmy Award for her work on the animated Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the Lucasfilm Animation project headed by Dave Filoni. Alina contributed to video games, too, before transitioning to freelance illustration. I've met her at conventions and the Trickster store where I bought her books Treehouse Heroes and the Forgotten Beast, Pickle - The Little Bird Who Doesn't Tweet!, Acqurello III, and Disney Princess: The World is Yours. Anita Coulter offered Alina's paintings at her Trickster store and I bought a Winter scene and a military scene. At the Alameda County Library where I work, I borrowed and enjoyed her artwork in the books Double Happiness, Lunar New Year, and The Nian Monster. I'm looking forward to her upcoming book project In the Spirit of a Dream: 13 Stories of American Immigrants of Color. Alina tackled a complete watercolor graphic novel Marshmallow & Jordan. The story of a schoolgirl basketball player is coming October 5, 2021 from First Second Books.

I worked with Alina many, many years ago and have enjoyed seeing her personal art have so much success. This is a beautiful piece! Huge congrats!

I had no idea her art was available to purchase. you are a lucky man! Love here previous graphic novels and thanks for the heads up on the new one. Have you ever seen pages of hers for sale?

No pages seen for sale. Alina showed Marshmallow & Jordan pages.on Instagram. She is based in the LA area and shows up at cons in normal times. Look at the animation cons, too. She sends work to galleries here and there.
