Description

�� Jordan is the heroine of Alina Chau�s Marshmallow & Jordan graphic novel published by First Second Books in 2021. The Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco offered their Sketchathon at SDCC and online simultaneously. I have purchased finished pieces from Alina, but this was my first chance to request a character. I loved Alina�s painted artwork for her graphic novel. Jordan was the star basketball player for her school team, but becomes paralyzed below the waist after an accident. She meets the baby white elephant Marshmallow who introduces her to swimming and water polo. This piece is on a postcard. One of three pieces I received in the mail.

The blush on her cheeks matches the color she's wearing. Very cute in the way the watercolors are done with a light touch.
