That's really beautiful as Colan draws it to be dark and underlit emphasizing some of the most fine features of Clea. Romita obliges and makes the face lovely looking up and ratches up the tension with those demon beasts look more threatening.

Some complain that Romita overpowers Colan in this issue, but it's easy to recognize what each artist brings to the collaboration, and I think the art in Doctor Strange #7 is completely amazing. Thanks for sharing this great splash page!

Yeah, to be 100% honest, would probably love this page more if Palmer or Janson had inked it. People on CAF will hate me, but always think of Romita as the Curt Swan of Marvel. Still the stodgy stiltedness of his rendering gives this page an umistakable late 70s charm
