DescriptionThis issue of Uncanny X-Force was a lot of fun, it deals with Bishop coming back to this current timeline and the team dealing with the Revenant Owl Queen getting into each of their heads (Storm, Puck and Psylocke), haunting them with their dark past decisions. I have the Psylocke single page splash, highlighting her dark history, already posted.This DPS features Bishop, Psylocke, Puck and Storm starting a battle with this horde of Zombie Revenants. Lots of great action art by Perez; seeing Bishop, Psylocke, Puck and Storm in fighting poses. I really like the middle right Puck panel, seeing his disjointed high flying kick pose, Psylocke slicing and Storm electrifying in lower right. Lots of characters and Zombies Revenants tucked into this DPS. There also seems to be a little extra pencil work you can see in lower left of Storm’s head I think and a weird bit of notation “FOOT TO THA’ FACE” and seeing Puck’s foot come into frame kicking one of the Revenant’s face. The design work with slanted panels leading from left to right, back and forth, really help for some stylized cinematic action that continues like a “oner” in a filmed action sequence. More to come from this issue for me, but would gladly take any leads on more pages from this issue, so many fun stylized splash and DPS pages. This posting is in honor of the recent Halloween season and the recent WALKING DEAD show auction on Heritage which was a lot of fun to watch. Social/Sharing |

Foot To Tha Face Killer action sequence! Love how Psylocke looks with the sword crossing over to the panel above next to that notation as well. Great DPS!

Wall to wall action! Puck's foot to face is the most impactful blow of the DPS!
