DescriptionIt’s easy to lose track of the many variations of the beloved wall-crawler. I knew of Spidey as a kid but didn’t know his full origin until I read an old reprint. And damn that origin is still as impactful to me as when I first read it.Initially I was going to do one scene that captures the “power & responsibility” theme which the great Steve Ditko and Stan Lee chronicled. I soon realized it was impossible. It was better to do a series of key scenes. But who to draw it? Given the numerous list of artists who drew Spidey over the decades, I needed to narrow it down to the artists who I remembered during my formative comic reading years. With the help of Ron Frenz who did an early draft and a panel, I sought out the artists to finish the project. Alex Saviuk: Peter & the radioactive Spider Ron Frenz: Masked Marvel meets Crusher Hogan Erik Larsen: Burglar escapes John Romita Jr (pencils) & Al Milgrom (inks): Power and Responsibility I can’t thank these amazing creators enough for contributing to this project. Moreover, I may still tinker with this and add some detailed head sketches or lettering. But for the most part, I am more than thrilled with the outcome. Social/Sharing |

Leave it be! It's perfect the way it is giving each panel space to exude the power of these classic moments in Spidey lore!!

That's the coolest thing I've seen on here in a while. I think it's awesome the way it stands right now.
