DescriptionPicked this up from Jim at Phoenix Comicon this year. Where do I start? You’ve got Wolverine, Luke Cage, Fastball Special, Jim Cheung…just an awesome piece. Was a little pricey but Jim was very cool and we worked out a pretty solid deal – this was one of those pieces where when I first saw it I thought “Wow…gotta get that!”The detail on the piece is just stellar – Jim and Mark really knocked it out of the park here. Super meticulous on Logan’s right glove, his stubble, basically everything. The detail around the wind and movement lines, as well as the individual snow flurries – just sick! I also particularly like the layout of this piece as you’ve got the double page splash but also individual panels; so you get the dramatic splash effect as well as the storytelling through the panels. Definitely a primo example – hope ya’ll enjoy. Social/Sharing |

Wow, I literally stared at this page for five minutes stunned at the amount of detail and the precision inking by Morales. I'm sure whatever deal you worked out with Jim was worth every penny! A fantastic representation of the Cheung/Morales team featuring a great (and rare) Cheung Wolverine DPS!

I'm sincerely dumbfounded by the power of this piece... In trying to think of something to write (because I HAVE to comment on this wondrous piece), I'm left with mutant monikers... Astonishing... Savage... Uncanny...
What a brilliant piece. Thank you so much for sharing this with all of us!

Mutant monikers work, Jason! How about X-treme?! Or, it’s hard to pin down the X-Factor that makes this piece so nice ;) OK, I digress, but seriously, thanks. This was one of my first big buys and my like for it hasn’t waned an iota since! No doubt you can see why based on your comment!

"Yeah, I can see why you're so... X-Statix about it...?" ;)

"This'll end up being a CLASSIC and part of the LEGACY of the current GENERATION's X-artists!" :)
I think that's it!

This is simply magnificent. As you day, the level of detail is totally sick, in the best way possible. Must have taken DAYS to create this one DPS. Congrats!

Man, oh man... what a gem! Cheung draws everyone so well, sometimes I overlook how incredible his Wolverine, Spidey and Ben Grimm are. He's one of my very favorites, and this is about as good an example as you could want. Your collection, man! Wow!

Aw, thanks, Casey. This piece was actually my first 4 figure buy and I was sweatin' bullets when it happened, lol. But OH so glad to this day I pulled the trigger! One of Cheung's best pieces (no bias!) IMO from one of his best single issues in that Avengers FCBD book. Some great Spidey in there, too. This was also one of my earliest framed pieces, so I gets to gander every day :)
