DescriptionWow, just WOW! One of the last piece to come in this year that was completely unexpected, and easily one of my favorites of 2022.So first, a HEARTY Thank You! to my secret santa, Jersey's own Ankur Jetley. I'm truly touched and blown away by this gesture. The Easter Eggs are tremendous. Secondly, HOT DAMN!!!! Carlos Dearmas is an artist that has been on my radar, and this is everything that I could want from him and more. Layers for days. The image is large, I hope you enjoy. Thank you again, Ankur. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!! Social/Sharing |

On a Dearmas day, then show his lines
And I know it's you the Santa of my life

So Carlos can make me feel good again

Needs more lines. Man, another one of those pieces that gives me carpal tunnel sympathy pains. OW, MY UNTALENTED WRISTS! This is a gorgeous take on Dream, Death, and Matthew the Raven. There are so many details to enjoy here, like the souls in the water, those wonderful expressions, and those fantastic sartorial choices. I'm burning all my clothes as I type! Great page from a good friend.

INCREDIBLY disappointed at the lack on hidden genitalia but otherwise an adequate piece. I guess.

Unbelievably stunning, M L. I tried to find -someplace- on this piece that was not brimming with detail and investment by this artist and came up short (even the white space by Dream's right hand is a perfect choice) and I had to stare at this for a while before I could even begin to process everything. I -think- my favorite thing is Dream's coat (complete with dreamcatcher laying across his chest)... or maybe the cat in Dream's satchel? Scratch that - I love the small skeletons lost in the folds of Death's skirt...? Or the effect on the viewer as one pans across the night sky from left to right...and finds oneself caught up in a joyous exodus to the heavens...? Quite possibly just the way Death's hand is so gently held be Dream (and vice versa). "Patience is a virtue." Such a richly woven, densely layered stunner of a masterpiece. Incredible work! I need to learn more about this artist!! Killer secret Santa, M L! (Incredible choice, Ankur!) Congrats!
