Descriptionthis is a fantastic painting by artist Rudy Ao featuring Dr. Strange as he is set to battle any and all evil forces set upon the planet earth. you can almost feel the mystic energy flowing with his use of acrylic paint. it looks very Bill Sienkiewicz style, but I love the dark horror feel to it. amazing piece won on the dueling dealers of comic book art. It's grand presentation of the movie version of Doctor Strange and his powers! Those scars and dead eyes show the effect of corruption from the Darkhold. This image holds up better and is as fantastical as what any movie special effect can accomplish.

Agreed. You can see him as the corruption of the dark. Energy changes him to the dark master of the mystic arts.

Stunning Doctor Strange commission from Rudy Ao! Love the color palette Rudy used--the bright reds and yellows seem to sparkle almost like magical spells brought to life. The face of Strange is a little spooky, the whites of his eyes seem to see right past us and the circular discs that represent his mystical spells glow with power. Fantastic painting and terrific commission! Congrats!
