DescriptionOriginal cover art to Uncanny X-Men #359 by Bachalo. I’ve been an X-Men nut since I was 6 and I’ve gotten my paws on some pretty cool stuff over the years but for me this one is up on the top shelf with a handful of other pages and books. We always talk about Jim, Whilce, Andy and Joe but sometimes we forget to mention the 5th Power Ranger, Chris. His run after Joe Mad produced some classic covers and carried the 90’s X-Men on what I consider its last great artistic ride of that decade. This is one of those covers I buy out of the bins every time I see it. One of my all time favorite characters, by one of my all time favorite artists, on one of my all time favorite titles.Social/Sharing |

One really sweet cover. Personally I like the art only image better, but that is just my taste. But a big congrats.

Thanks Harry! The art is awesome with the overlay off. Has all the 90's X-men feels.

Bachalo's focus on Rogue after her break up with Gambit was pretty awesome. This is a play off Wolverine's line, so it had loaded even more built in demand. These were never really made available to the general public when they came out, so good get.

I wasn't a big Bachalo fan when these issues came out but have come to appreciate his work a lot more now. Congrats on picking up an awesome cover that checks all your character/artist checkboxes!

Bachalo is a bit of an acquired taste for me but no doubt he is one of the greats. Excellent example !

I understand. I probably should have clarified my love of his art more to the 90's style (Gen X, X-Men, etc) than the current stuff.

I agree that Chris deserves his place as one of the top X-Men artists. His stylized take on the characters is fun and all his own. This cover image has always stuck out in my head. Huge congrats on picking this one up!

I'm with you that Bachalo is up there with the others who helped define the 90's era of X-Men. I really like his art so this is a very memorable cover to me. Huge congrats on adding this amazing piece!

wondering when this would show up! this is a great cover (and i'm not even a bachalo nut) but love the rendering of Rogue here and of course the classic cover homage. I was in the bidding for this as well but clearly didn't make it - congrats on the score!

Nice grab! That Bachalo/Townsend (and sometimes Thibert) is probably my favorite stuff ever, so you gotta know I already worship it. Happy for you and jealous all at the same time! : )
