Description

One of my favorite pieces. This is a piece I commissioned from Richard Sala years ago, maybe around 2003? It depicts Annie and Nibbil, the two main characters from my wife Colleen Coover's Eisner-nominated "SMALL FAVORS" erotica.

In keeping with the charming happiness of Small Favors, I asked Richard to keep Annie and Nibbil to be free of any actual peril, but to bring that good ol' Sala atmosphere. I was (and am) really happy with the piece, and will always remember the look on Colleen's face when I gave her this.

If you've ever seen Sala's color originals, you know how much this piece POPS in real life.

Damn I miss Richard so much. What a true talent.
