Description

This page was published in February 1968, penciled by Mike Sekowsky and inked by Sid Greene.

From the story entitled "Winged Warriors of the Immortal Queen", this marks the return of the Queen Bee. This time she uses her Magno-Nuclear Rod to shrink the JLA members to a size that enables her to exert more control over them. This issue guest stars Batgirl although it is the Atom who ultimately rescues the team by growing back into his full-sized alter ego of Ray Palmer, thus escaping the Queen Bee's influence. This is one of ten pages in which Batgirl actually appears and is one the better pages that features her in action.

Nice action page! The depiction of Batgirl in the opening panel really shows the movement Sekowsky achieved in his pages, and the lovely, crisp inks of Greene.
