Congratulations on acquiring a page from JLA # 1. I'm glad to see these pages go to fans who read this series as kids in the 1960's. I didn't start with the very first issue like you did but I wasn't far behind and would always look forward to seeing a new issue appear on the spinner rack.
A really nice combination of artists and action scenes.
Carmine's second run on The Flash was a gift for both comic readers and original art collectors who may have been priced out of his silver age pages.
An historic issue (first Tomar Re) that highlights the dynamic art of Gil Kane and Joe Giella.
I think I've seen this in the past in someone else's CAF gallery but whatever ownership journey has been, it's in good hands now. And like the story that you told, this appearance of this issue on the comic book rack in the local corner luncheonette was right around the time that I discovered The Justice League. Kanjar Ro is still one of my favorite JLA villains.
A great addition to your Green Lantern collection.
A really nice silver age JLA page. As for the timing of this acquistion, I sense Bechara and San Diego.
Thanks Nick. I appreciate your words and frequently feel the same way when a fellow collector acquires a page that I like and posts it here on CAF for all to see and enjoy.

Congratulations on acquiring this page 10 years ago. :)
What a unique Justice League page. I'll have to pull that issue out of my JLA box and read it. It's a shame that it was colored like this.
You didn't list the artists but I believe they are Dave Gibbons (pencils) and Mike DeCarlo (inks).
Congratulations on adding a page from this historic story to your collection.
The gang's all here, plus one. Congratulations Nick.
Dick Dillin penciled this issue, not Mike Sekowsky. Dillin's long run on the Justice League began with issue 64.
This is actually from issue 36 which is the second appearance of The Star-Bolt Warrior. I own partial page 8 from that issue. Evidently someone cut it up as I have yet to see a full page. Better a partial than nothing at all.
Nine members of the Justice League, seven members of the Justice Society and all six villains packed into a gorgeous half page. Awesome!
All eight team members shown here and the solution to The Riddle of The Robot Justice League is revealed. Nice!
How brave and bold of you to have a goal of assembling a complete story including the cover. Congrats!
I love the story in issues 10 and 11 where five new adversaries gave the Justice League all that they cold handle. Congratulations on adding this historic page to your collection.
Green Lantern 8 is my all-time favorite silver age cover and any interior page that depicts GL fighting a Zegor is coveted. I'm happy to own page 15 but your page is substantially better. Congratulations!
Carmine's second stint on The Flash was a gift to both readers and original art collectors.
There's an amazing amount of fine detail work in this headshot.
Mike Burkey had lots of nice pages from GL issue 6 for sale but this one is stellar with both Hal and Tomar-Re in action together. Congratulations!
Any page from issues 21-22 would be coveted by a silver age Justice League fan but this one is in the grail stratosphere. It's as historic as it gets. Congratulations.
I would say that you nailed the look and feel of an old horro pulp cover. Well done!
How awesome that you acquired this entire story featuring the first appearance of Chronos. His second appearance, made less than a year later, is a big one as part of the six villians who team up to take on the Justice League and the Justice Society in JLA issues 21 & 22 (Crisis On Earth-One, Crisis On Earth-Two).
Flash running in multiple panels, as drawn by Neil Adams.... superb! Congratulations Nick.
I saw this on Heritage as well. Glad it was acquired by a true Hal Jordan GL fan.
Power Ring from the Earth-3 Crime Syndicate. I wouldn't mind having this in my collection so I'm with you on this one. Nice acqusition Mike.
Flash versus The Weapons Master. A fantastic silver age page!
This is the first page that I have ever seen from issue 20. Congratulations Lanier.
The Atom joins the Justice League and the first thing he does is to punch out Batman, getting knocked himself out in the process. Then he finds himself rolling down a bowling alley as part of an "Atom" bomb with the JLA as the target. Just a few more pages to go for him to save the day.
It's funny to see the $5.00 asking price in the lower right side.
Superman defeats his robot double and the page returns to your collection. Congratulations.
This is a stellar piece of JLA art. Congratulations.
A perfect combination of The Flash, two members of the Rogues Gallery (including my personal favorite The Mirror Master) and Nick Cardy art, Really nice Nick.
