DescriptionThis page was published in June 1965, penciled by Mike Sekowksy and inked by Bernard Sachs.From the story entitled “The Case of The Disabled Justice League”. Brain Storm (aka The Star-Bolt Warrior) returns and attempts to defeat the Justice League by giving them physical handicaps. Brain Storm first appeared in issue 32, so the JLA only had three cases in between his first and second appearances. Green Lantern's costume is drawn differently here reflecting the change that was made in Green Lantern issue 35 (March 1965). Thankfully the altered look didn't last very long. I have rarely seen pages from issues 31-59 show up in the marketplace and when they do they are frequently like this one, having been trimmed. This one isn’t too bad though. It’s 2/3’s of the original published page, it has five JLA members in multiple panels and it also has a panel that recaps issue 32 in which Brain Storm eludes capture by vanishing. This time the result is different and his stellar helmet is placed in the JLA secret sanctuary as a trophy. Social/Sharing |

Another great JLA page by Sekowsky. Congratulations! (The helmet reminds me of one in a Dial H for Hero story in House of Mystery.)

You got the better part of the page. Make a stat for the rest. Those faces are very DC House style of the mid 60's.
