Guice hits all the notes for an action cover worthy of issue 1 to make figures larger than life and operating at their best. The upshot view makes both Sam and Bucky very heroic against the bombs bursting in air.

I'm here thanks to Cox and Snorek featuring this AMAZING variant cover by Butch Guice on Comic Art Fans Update #113. I've only recently become a Winter Soldier fan, but I have found Butch Guice to be a fascinating artist since I was a teen in the 90s. This is now among one of my favorite Guice pieces ever. Love the staging and positioning of characters here. And like Bill said on the YouTube, the heavy inks are what draw me in. Though I will add how it is Guice's work on his face alongside the heavy inks that will keep me coming back to view this on CAF.
