Super clean is right. I prefer his pre Watchmen style.

Stunning cover! The Mekon image is just superb, and the effect of the blast lines cutting into the logo makes the dynamic scene even more dazzling.

Not only the linework, but the color is applied with precise super detail finely controlled. The bright hues radiate such energy off the paper!
