I came a heartbeat away from buying this for Brian in Atlanta but took the Killing Joke prelim instead. Probably a mistake. I remember seeing it in S.D. later marked sold and was profoundly disheartened.

This is really nice with the Russell inks. Amoung the very first pages I bought was a Gil Kane 'Tales of Kazar' backup story about Sabu the tiger. Unfortunately Kane did it all in markers, which I was later to see turn purple with age.
That was a great recap of the Air Pirates battle. Great to see these covers are safe.
