DescriptionI learned about Carlos Dearmas' work from a few other CAFers and seeing his work on IG. His line work is intricate but has a looseness and energy to it. He's shown he can take on droves of characters but I think his work especially shines when he's drawing macabre elements. He's an incredible talent based in Argentina. This piece was done for the Jack The Radio music comic magazine, which was released at Heroes Con in 2023. I was thrilled he was open to characters and concept and he went above and beyond with the little details and story elements. I love seeing his depiction of Jack (skeleton guy) and Bolo (Raccoon guy) with the angels and demons dancing and singing with them. Check out more of Dearmas' work on his Instagram page. Dearmas is a singular artist. Hard to draw comparisons to this unique and gorgeous style.

This is fantastic! At first glance, your eyes don't know where to go because there's so much wonderful stuff going on. But you just have to pick a spot to start and then slowly study the whole image. I think all the animals are my favorite. Great piece George!

Not only is it a unique piece respresentational of your band, but it's drawn in a contemporary, Kaluta-esque style which is absolutely gorgeous!

The angel serving as a muse is classical ideal and to do it properly like Dearmas does it here as an illustration shows the spark of imagination and creativity. It serves as inspiration for both the cowboy and himself when drawing.

The combination of Dearmas' detail and beauty fully shines here and makes for one outstanding JTR pinup. I am smiling at this one. It's too good.

Awesome you got Carlos to this JTR piece - his style absolutely fits, man. Love that line work, and there's a strong organic vibe, especially with the imagery here. Got a whispy, swirling, ethereal effect corner to corner. Awesome. Congrats, G!
