DescriptionThis 4 issue arc was published by Image and features James Harren.First let me explain why this appeals to me. I'm an only child and grew up in the middle of nowhere USA. That left me a lot of time to daydream. Comics were a huge influence on me. Star Wars, of course, but also monsters. I lOVED anything with monsters. Godzilla, King Kong - awesome. Shogun warriors, Battle of the planets, Gundham, etc. Who didn't stomp around their backyard knocking down skyscrapers, firing off their robot hand, etc.? Ok, maybe you didn't do that, but I did. When I first discovered ultramega, it appealed to the 8yr old me -> Here's someone modernizing those stories, making the cities bigger, the monsters crazier and the action a bit more gory, but WOW. The Icing on the cake? The art is freaking awesome. The storytelling? You don't need word balloons to know what's going on. For this reason, I present to you without further commentary than this, Ultramega issue 4 in its entirety. Enjoy! Social/Sharing |

By the gods...thank you! You and I were damn near the same crazy kids back when. For me??? It was more so television and particularly Mighty Morphin Power Rangers...I remember the shows VERY first commercial...soon as I saw a freakin' robotic T-Rex rise from an explosion, I was hopelessly in love! I had seen some robots before but ALL were animated like Macron 1, Iczer 1's Iczer Robo and of course, Voltron. But once I saw that LIVE action cyber Rex...with a freakin' PILOT??? My imagination was in full growth already. So I understand your love for Ultramega! Thank you again for sharing and I'm glad all these pages are with someone that gets them in a most intimate way. Congrats!
