DescriptionI’d been admiring Aaron’s art for a while and his Hellblazer work was jaw-dropping. I jumped on his list for Galaxycon and knew he would kill the supernatural theme with Ghost Rider. He’s as much a mad-scientist as he is an artist and his use of lighter fluid to create interesting patterns and textures is a sight to behold. He didn’t disappoint here!Social/Sharing |

Combustible! The texturing effect is incredible! That bit of blue on the skull is like a ghostly spirit effect from the base of the flame of pure heat.

For sure...little bits of texture and color variation come together in his method which technically shouldn't be called mixed media. I'm calling it "strange alchemy"

Campbell creates an otherworldly effect here that I wish could be the new norm for the character but would likely be impossible for any other artist to convey in the same way. An amazing piece of art.

Definitely an artist who pushes his own boundaries with whatever medium he works with. I would love to see him on a Marvel horror book!

Thanks Kavi...I'm just hoping the crazy part of the story doesn't end with the residual lighter fluid fumes catching the piece (and my house) on fire :)
