DescriptionBalance.Another stellar commission from Paul Limgenco, and so far he is batting a thousand. This time around he had a concept for a 'film frame' approach (and dimensions) that meshed well with what I was looking for. After a couple rounds of prelims and discussions we settled on the final image and Paul was off to the races. At said race, he smashed the record for the Kesel run, and delivered this home run piece. The scan is giant so get in there! Han's body language is spot on, as are the wonderful textures and lights that Paul has so skillfully executed. Like Jubilee says, "I love these Death Star floors." Thanks Paul! 26"x11" Social/Sharing |

Oh baby oh baby. Machine vs. machine in a sense, headed in opposite directions...

Super cool. Reminiscent of the scene in Star Wars Force Unleashed with the Star Destroyer.

Master in another life
Jedi council chair
Pulled away before your time
He can't deal, it's so unfair
And it feels
And it feels like
Falcon Solo in paint
And it feels
Yeah, it feels like
This Paul Limgenco
May the Force make you stay
Dark side powers in your frame
Show him sand I dare
Light sabers and grail doozys
He can't bring back what's taken Padme
I reach to Mikail
And call out your name
Oh, please let me trade
I would

Stunning!
It also almost looks like Vader has his thumb up and he's trying to hitchhike a ride on the Falcon.

The MF obviously stands out but I, too, look right at the floors too! So effective how tiny Vader is. Man. This has gotta be that much better in person. Big congrats, man, and an apt add for the day :)

Love it when artists really put their imagination to work, conceptualizing and creating art that are both fascinating and refreshingly different. Also a great choice using a wide angle, cinematic composition. It reminds me of McQuarrie's TESB production paintings. Congrats on this excellent commission!
