DescriptionMan oh man oh man do I love it when Dike starts laying in those backgrounds. He's got such a deft touch at creating textures and contrast. Also, there is a great sense of movement in the characters.Social/Sharing |

Ruan builds and stacks those panels brick by brick, layer by layer, tile by tile. Every page of this issue with Spidey shows why Ruan is such a stud.

"Deft touch" is no joke, M L - those backgrounds look like they're photoshopped in there. That second panel is really thrilling, with the phone / electrical cables criss-crossing through the fog like that, but there is incredible beauty anchoring each and every panel. Beautiful, beautiful work - congrats on these two awesome pick ups!
