DescriptionNew Mutants 100 is the end of an era! Most of the original muties have left the title, and a mostly new group are coalescing to become X-force. They gotta leave the mansion because their enemies abound and their methods won't jibe with the elder X teams. But who from the original title remain?I do my best to put some thought into each issue of this commission history and who I'll try to get to execute it. For the conclusion of the series, I liked the idea of getting as many of the original creators on the title to contribute. Some are passed, some don't do cons, some no longer draw... but I'm happy to get as many as I did on here. I generally wouldn't post before completion, but the last spot I'm saving might take a while to get. I brought up this idea to Isherwood a few years back and he seemed down. His availability opened up a month or two before Heroes and asked if I was still interested. Timing worked out great, because I had planned a busy con season with a lot of NM artists along the way. The artists in the order in which they contributed to the piece... This is soooo cool. Love all the jam pics of the artists with their heads down drawing. A fantastic collection of artists and characters. Yes I'll do that last spot and draw you a Feral!

Saving the last spot for Blevins. He was supposed to be at Terrificon but had to cancel. So some day!

So you don't want my stick figure drawing of Feral? 1st appearance of Maria Callasantos was in NM #99, it's an option I will leave open for you just in case Blevins falls through.

This is a VERY smart approach to getting multiple artists to work on a single piece. It presents a theme and is visually stunning. This really gives me a sense of nostalgia. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks! This seemed like the best option to give artists a self contained space that worked within the larger piece, at a size they could knock it out like a remarque.

Isherwood layed down some smooth pavement for the others to drive on!

Definitely! He opted not to do the trade dress up top, leaving a few extra spots for artists. Couldn't have asked for a better base.

Super, super, cool. And an absolutely brilliant idea. Why get a commission by one artist when you can get multiple contributors on the same piece? Turned out great. Congrats!

It has a few more since I saw it in Friday! Nicely done! As I said then, this is a wonderful way to approach a jam. The various artistic styles make sense given the individual posters they are on. Just a great looking piece! One more to go! Almost there! Kudus on this one!

A true labor of love! So many great shots, man, and just one away from being done. Particularly dig that Leonardi Illyana. Congrats!
