Description

Probably most associated with Power Pack, June worked on several issues of New Mutants throughout the original run. I had asked a bit ago if there was anything she'd be up for revisiting, and she said she liked drawing horses. All of my other Moonstar commissions are action heavy, so I love June's choice of going more serene with the relationship between her and Brightwind.

Nice use of gold without trying to over power the piece with it. It informs us that the rest of the piece is also delicately considered from linework to the gentle mood it strikes.

A beautiful piece! Brigman always did a wonderful job drawing kids (Power Pack) and teens (New Mutants) that looked like kids and teens, which was rare at times in comics.

A serence scene. Big Dani fan, so I'm always liking seeing OA feature her, and this calmer take is a nice change up. Congrats!
